Oops, forgot to note that this season is bitter-sweet for you. My mother’s final Christmas was painful to watch - she kept on saying “I want to die” repeatedly. A week later she was in a coma and her wish was realized on 16 January 1978. I still miss her on holidays, but the sting of her death is no longer with me.

Merry Christmas! To add insult to injury, it's raining here. I just chalk this one up to when you have a bad cold at Christmas. Disappointing but survivable. Keep your distance from those barbecue guests!
Raining? Omg. It rained here one winter. Turned all the streets into sheer ice. If you youtube "slipping on ice" you can even see some of them. Only me and my daughter at my BBQ. In my driveway. Because it sounded fun but we're too close to a vaccine to do it any other way. lol. Merry Christmas!
We had a beautiful snowfall last week. I really thought it would be a white Christmas. It rained all last night and now there's none in sight. My friend in Tennessee which is far south of here got snow. So unfair!
I had a not-white Christmas one year in Toronto. I didn't much like it, either. You're right - that somehow doesn't seem fair at all. lol. Merry Christmas Denise!
