Thanks Jen. I'm kind of tired of being hit by a truck, so going to try listen to the brick this time around. lol

Interesting coincidence. My next, and grossly postponed, newsletter is in part about time perception during Covid. It sounds like EVERYONE has had their perception of time, and priorities, changed in ways large and small. My sailing plans were altered first because of Covid and then open-heart surgery. Our ability to persist seems to have been tested. I (hopefully) will be back on the ocean sailing again in two weeks. And Buddha is right. The only time we really have is 'now'.

Hey Michael. Well, if persistence is the key, I have that in abundance. Glad you're recovering quickly and back sailing.

With half a year left to go, I feel like I've been sucked into a vortex against my will lol. I've been trying SO hard to figure life out, but those bricks...

Now I'm on a deadline, not by choice. Having lost my job permanently a month ago, I only have government Covid support until September. That pretty much means it's do or die because I can't see myself putting together a friggin resume at my age, in my state of mind.

Ouch, Kristi. I can relate to that last sentence. It's been over 20 years since I last made a resume. I think those days are done for me, too. Go with something high ticket, it's easier to sell. I find it harder to sell $10 coffee than $50 coffee just to use one client as an example.

Yea I'm working on it. It'll be interesting to experiment with my niche and see if people latch on. Fingers crossed!

I will cross my fingers for you. That said, I have every confidence you'll kick some butt and make it work.

Hello Linda

Nice to meet you every Friday

and nice to read this article, BUT

this hits me very hard :

“The trouble is, you think you have time”

~Buddha

I don't think we have time for anything.

Thank you for the thought

In a strange way, Sam, that gives you an advantage. Most people put things off so long because they think there will be time later. We aren't guaranteed that. Hope you're well out there.

How am I doing? A little worse, a little better. The vaccine doesn't work well AT ALL on transplant recipients (I am one). The Rock. But I pay attention to politics -The Brick. Started out okay but The Beast won't shut up! And feels like really bad and hateful in the outside world. Again. I'm not waiting around for the damn truck!

Yeah, the truck is the worst. Had more than one person's share of those, it seems.

"Time isn’t the problem. Priorities are. " This is so true. But I also think I try to do too many things and so I don't meet my goals.
