I didn't realize I was holding my breath until midway through, when I had to breathe. You write about pain beautifully. That' a gift.

Wow! Totally blown away! Poetic stream of consciousness in prose more beautiful than poetry. You are supremely gifted! Looking forward to reading more of your elegant writing

Yes, I find the words that pour out of my heart in times of grief are truly truly precious... <3 and I'm in it deeply today :)

Oh Camille, I hear you. Sometimes it's the air and the water and what can we do but drink and keep walking. You know? I know you do. Thank you

This is the point in the process where I want to share, commiserate, advise, but the point here is to listen to the breath of your heart. I'm listening. Thanks.

We are funny creatures aren't we. To share, commiserate and advise is human, too. Sometimes we long for all kinds of contact to feel less alone. Thank you, Brian

I was literally contemplating loss and grief this afternoon and then this popped up on my feed. Had me nearly bawling by the end. Maybe it’s predictable, maybe it’s cliché, but I often go to back to Plath in times of mourning. This was beautiful, thank you.

I sometimes wonder if she knows, somewhere out there, what a bucket she gave us all in which to hold our pain. Thank you Anh

I’m 68 and life has turned very ugly with loss for me in these last years. This resonates with me. Thank you.

Oh, Dianna, I hear you on loss the last years. So much loss in the last few years it's staggering.

I always feel I am not alone feeling bad when I read pieces like this. If you spend too much time alone, you can forget the rest of the world exists beyond your computer sometimes.

You are never alone feeling bad, David. There is always so many others. Often I am standing right there with y'all.

Wordsworth was my freshman-year-of-college companion. Thanks for bringing me his words again, bringing me back to that 18 year old who breathed his words like I was gasping for air.

Oh Tawnya, I remember that feeling. We were so hopelessly young and innocent at 18, weren't we?

What a beautiful way to start my day, Linda!

In fact, I was awake at 4:30, deep in thought about writing my book! We are on the same wave it seems!

Thank you for your writing! It touches my heart in a unique way like no other!

Beautiful. I read it twice to take in all your words. Grief brings us to our knees but also gives passion and poetry to our writing. Masterful writing Linda.
