Ahh, Linda, I always appreciate how much you do for writers here. I am right in the middle of launching my poetry book and have no idea what I'm doing with my social media. I'm looking forward to your book and am willing to be an example of what 'not' to do.

lol, Tree, you made me laugh. Hell, *I* have been an example of what not to do. So much work for clients I am like the shoemaker and have no shoes. Need to update my own stuff, too.

You know I am all over hiring you when it's time!!! As for "Took the company from two struggling dudes to seven figures and a feature on HGTV. " WOW if it's the two dudes I'm thinking of. WOW

Lmao. Jen, you made me laugh. Nope, it wasn't those two guys. Would be nice and I've had some high profile clients, but not those two.

Thank you for your beautifully written Margaret Mitchell story. It literally brought tears to my eyes. I would caution you, though, to be extra careful when crossing any street.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Man, just yesterday I was crossing the street and a car ran the red light and good thing I hadn't stepped out faster. I'd have been hit for sure. Whizzed by a foot in front of me.

I’m revamping my website in the next few months. I’m making sales but using a different front page. I’m driving traffic to Podía and Linktree instead. I know I’m missing an opportunity. Traffic isn’t the problem. It’s the integration. I’m driving traffic from my TikTok and Instagram accounts to my book but not to my website. Ugh I need help.

Yup, you're missing a huge opportunity. And it's a darn shame because you're doing good work. I wish I'd found someone like you 25 years ago. You're kicking some serious butt on TikTok but driving them right to the book leaves so much on the table. I'm kind of thinking of also doing some consulting just to talk through potential. Mostly that comes from the conversations I've had with you and a couple of other people here. I used to think I had to "do" all the work. I'm beginning to think maybe there's room to just guide it. :)

Yeah I actually have help. I’m working with two virtual assistants who are frikkin amazing. It’s the “what to do” I’m having trouble with. My biggest engagement now is on IG. I’ve been blowing up there. YouTube is coming up strong behind it. Podcast is now consistently in the top 150 Apple Mental Health. Now to drive all of this somewhere central.

I’d love to consult with you.

The what to do is hardest, for sure. I so agree that driving it all somewhere central is the smartest thing you could do. I will put together a consulting gig as soon as I wade through the *black friday, cyber monday, black friday returns, last shipping day before the holidays* stream is done. lol. The amount of email I send with 5 brands is overwhelming. But it's only once a year. I'd LOVE to have you in my success stories case studies. :)

Hey Linda, I had no idea you had been doing websites since before I was truly aware of websites. 😊That's awesome. Your book sounds wonderful, I would like one when it's for sale. If I can help you with the other part you mentioned, I'd be happy to. Cheers

Thanks, Joe. I'll let you know when I have something to get some feedback on. I'd love to know what you do, and maybe have a peek at your website. Can't help myself. lol

I'm in, though my website is an absolute atrocity. Also saying my business is ant-sized would be the most outrageous overstatement of the year. In any case, I look forward to your final product.

I love when websites are an absolute atrocity. It's so much easier to get great results. lol.

My book isn't ready yet. But along the way, I seem to have developed a sideline in non-fiction. While I ponder how to make that a revenue producer, let me just say that I've always admired your honesty and willingness to bring others up with you. High five, Linda!

That's awesome, Carolyn. Having a revenue producer to help while you're working on your book sure isn't a bad thing. And thanks, always figured a group of people stands out easier than just one. :)

I love that you're always trying to bring writers up with you. Too many enjoy kicking the ladder away. Right now, my product is my newsletter (the book's coming eventually!), so I don't know it this is for me. But I think it's awesome just the same.

Thanks, Kevin. That's a nice thing to say. Honestly, I'd rather shine the spotlight on every one else as long as I can make a decent living, I'm good. If you have a book coming, having the website in place first could be the best thing you do for the book. And the site could be funneling more people to the newsletter, too. :)

Yes, please.

I'm all in, whatever you need, I'll commit! I'm so tired of being stuck.

Always smart. Good piece Linda.

Ms. Caroll: if as you say, you’ve “been doing what I do for a really long time,” seems you’ve been doing very well at it, so congratulations are in order. It’s hard not to admire a person who knows what they’re about. Makes it better for the rest of us.

So, I’ll bite. If you’d like to see a very quiet website, here it is: www.goposted.com Been enjoying the hell out of writing the blogs—and failing awfully bad at building an email list. I should study harder at understanding metadata and all, but truthfully the reason I’m doing this is because of the discipline it forces on me to write to a schedule.

I have a second draft of a story about Sally Hemings that could use some readers.

Truth tellers are often in the crosshairs of negative energies. Be watchful wherever you go and who you interact with, especially in public places. When driving, I always wait a few seconds after a light changes before moving forward.

I sure did. Just bombed with Black Friday promo stuff. Will catch up on the weekend. If you can believe, I'm still working and it's 8 pm here.

I am still drowning. First we had Black Friday. Then cyber Monday. Then we extended it. Now we have Black Friday returns. 11 pm here and I'm still working. But -- once this promo is up and tested, I will be able to breathe. Until I take it down Monday. Then I have a few days to breathe before the holiday clearance sale starts. It gets sane eventually, and then I can catch up.
