Happy holidays and Merry Christmas to you! We don't celebrate formally at home, but of course we do join any celebrations that are going on :D

Happy holidays for everyone, especially Linda, whose posts I have been reading for some time. Linda, you may wish to know that I only read yours on a regular basis from Medium. I like your writing as your style is exactly what I lack. I am 73-years young and have published over 30 books, mostly in Chinese and some in English, including one on Marks & Spencer, which was subsequently translated into Chinese and Russian. I have also written a newsletter with over 200 issues, so I know how challenging it is to write regularly.

I am keen to improve my writing as it is one of the most cost-effective way to create an impact on this world.

A friend of mine who is less than half of age has once said that i should a comedian. I asked why.

She said whenever I do presentations (in workshops or talks) I spoke the truth and I expected people to believe it. I always thought that's the funniest way to define a comedian. But it also said a lot about my ability to convince people even though I am telling the truth.

Anyway, thank you again and let me share with you and your readers this quote that I like very much:

"Stop counting the years and start making the years count."

Happy New Year!

It's 82 outside, here in St. Pete Florida, but it's much colder in the house. If you need a place to thaw, I've got a spare bedroom and plenty of masks. Have a very Merry Christmas and a bitchin' Festivus.

Thank you for the Christmas greetings. I send you WARM wishes (obviously at -25, you need it). We're in the 40's right now with Christmas expected to be in the 50's (crazy temp for the mid-Atlantic states).

Yes, I celebrate the season...but my husband and I will be eating at our dining room table alone again, for the second year in a row. It just makes me sad that we're not past the COVID nonsense of the past two years.

Stay well and keep on sending us your interesting "ramblings." I for one enjoy them.

Merry Christmas to you as well Linda. It's also -25 here and I don't have a fireplace. But I do have something better...heated tile flooring 😁😁

Stay safe and happy holidays!

I'm late, but wishing you warmth, peace, and joy during the holidays and beyond. You've kept me going for decades, my dear friend. Much love to you and yours.

Unnaturally warm here, in the sixties. But hey, it's Iowa and a great place to learn Mother Nature has a strange sense of humor. You know though, sitting in a T-shirt with a cup of coffee, rocking in the sun on Christmas Day has some good points. No doubt the bill for this will come due in January and February but by then it is a downhill slide into spring. All of the best to you and your readers with hopes for a return to some kind of reality in the coming year.

Merry Christmas, Linda. Put another log on the fire. 50 below zero was our normal winters up in Fairbanks. Now in the Northwest Lower 48, -10 limits our snowshoe adventures.

I enjoy your down-to-earth style of writing. I just starting submitting some of my blog posts this year on Medium. First four are published. The learning curve is a daily roller coaster and a fun challenge.
