Excellent point, Linda. We forget once the story’s done to remain ourselves. To do what we do best as writer—use the same skills with words to connect with our readers.

I know I feel a bit afraid of marketing. Like I’m asking too much of my readers to connect with me, or I suddenly feel awkward and shy, and get tongue-tied.

Thank you for this reminder to be ourselves. To remain true to ourselves and connect on that level. You’re right. I just need to relax in regards to all of this.

Thank you, Kerry, and you're welcome. I think every writer has a thread that weaves its way through their writing that many people resonate with. Like Patrick and his dragons. He writes fantasy and how well that all fits together. You know?

The hard part is figuring out what that thing is, the connection between us and our audience. But once we figure it out, the magic starts to happen there. Thanks for reading. :)

Thank you Linda. I'm searching for that thread. I can almost touch it.

I hope tomorrow brings happy memories of you and your dad.

“Real human connection is about all that stands the test of time.

Touch the heart and the head will follow.” I needed to hear this message today. Social media and the internet bombard us with what we should do to become rich through content marketing. Most of the pitches are a scam and shallow at best. Thank you for your thoughtful messages and connection to your readers.
