When I was a child we had Ukrainian neighbours who always included us at Christmas. Having come from a 2nd generation English family where everything was roasted or boiled, I loved the pierogis and cabbage rolls. Such a treat.

Lovely. We share a common thread - my spouse Peter is a Ukrainian American. His maternal and paternal grandparents emigrated here - whenever. They settled in “coal country,” NE Pennsylvania.
